Dylana Jenson
Violinist
Dylana Jenson has performed with most major orchestras in the United States and traveled to Europe, Australia, Japan and Latin America for concerts, recitals and recordings. After her triumphant success at the Tchaikovsky Competition, where she became the youngest and first American woman to win the Silver Medal, she made her Carnegie Hall debut playing the Sibelius Concerto with Eugene Ormandy and the Philadelphia Orchestra.
David Lockington
Conductor and Composer
After writing a fairly serious first movt., Violet’s Lullaby came to David Lockington on waking, 2 days after his granddaughter (Violet) was born in February, 2018. The lullaby became the theme for the variations of the second movt. and transformed the angular stomping themes of the finale into a joyful Copland-like dance. Youtube link below is the second full performance, the premiere being given by the commissioners, the Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra.
Leonid Sushansky
Violinist
Violinist Leonid Sushansky has been acclaimed widely for his, "Gorgeous tone...Passionate intensity." The Washington Post. Sushansky was a scholarship student at the renowned Juilliard School, where he remained for 7 years under the tutelage of Dorothy DeLay. He also had the privilege of being coached by the great violinist, Isaak Stern. He is currently the Artistic Director and Founder of the National Chamber Ensemble.
Emil Chudnovsky
Violinist
Chudnovsky is the winner of top prizes from nine international competitions. Chudnovsky has performed in Great Britain, Italy, Israel, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Japan, Argentina, Brazil, Equador, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela. In the United States, he has played recitals and concerts with orchestras in Washington D, Illinois, Ohio, Virginia, New York, South Dakota, Maryland, California and Florida, including multiple appearances at Carnegie Hall. He holds degrees from Mannes College of Music and Yale University.
Mathias Boegner
Violinist
A pupil of Dorothy DeLay and Aida Stucki, Mathias Boegner follows up on the path of Pedagogic Legacy. He has performed solo violin around the world, including Carnegie Hall. In addition to being a professor at the China Conservatory Beijing and National University of the Arts Taiwan, Mathias has also taught at the Berufsschule Konservatorium in Zuerich. He's been Concertmaster at Stadtorchester Winterthur, Shanghai Broadcast Symphony, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande Geneva ad int. and Principal Viola at Thailand Philharmonic.
